Some wedding days are beautiful...Some are emotional... And then there are the ones where you spend most of the day laughing behind your camera and Chelsey and Brennan’s fall wedding at Vanderbilt Lakeside in Philmont, NY was exactly that kind of day. Laughter, beauty, and emotioal. The best three words to sum up their wedding!

These two originally met at a cupcake shop (hello striaght of a movie???). Sweet, lighthearted, and full of joy , that’s been their story from the very beginning!

Months before their wedding, I photographed their engagement session in Brooklyn, and just like that day, we spent most of our time laughing. From wandering the streets to capturing the quiet in between moments, their chemistry was effortless. Fast forward to their fall wedding day, and nothing had changed.. except now they were saying “I do.”

Set against the stunning autumn backdrop at Vanderbilt Lakeside, their day felt cozy, romantic, and full of heart!

Chelsey and Brennan are truly best friends. They laugh through everything, calm each other with a single look, and never take themselves too seriously. During portraits, we barely had to “try”... the smiles were real, the jokes were constant, and every photo reflected exactly who they are.

One of my favorite parts of the day was how natural everything felt. No forced poses. No awkward moments. Just real laughter, real emotion, and real love.

Chelsey and Brennan, thank you for trusting me with your memories and for letting me laugh right alongside you from start to finish. Your wedding day was such a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do.
